Waitrose Car Park

The Waitrose car park in Guernsey is a vital space for customers, operating seven days a week. However, its aging Aco Channels had reached the end of their lifespan, potentially becoming hazardous for visitors. QCL was tasked with removing and replacing the channels to restore safety while keeping disruption to a minimum.

Given the high traffic nature of the site, the team worked primarily during off hours and Sunday nights, ensuring the car park remained accessible throughout the project. Close attention was paid to public safety, and the work was carried out efficiently in close proximity to shoppers and staff.

The project was completed without any issues, and the property owners were extremely pleased to have the hazard eliminated. The new Aco Channels ensure the car park is safe and functional for years to come.
